Louis Grimble
“I delivered the Journal and made five dollars a week. I had all the west side of 101st Street from 118th Ave to 112th Ave. Every house. It was the best route in Edmonton. Every single house took the Journal. They were quite fashionable houses. I would leave school and go over to the shack get my 100 papers. Shorty Runnell would come with the paper in his truck and would stay there and see that we all got our papers. Collection was every Friday night. I would collect 25 cents a week, and keep 5 cents. So that was five dollars.”
